There was an incredible Iphone mania when the launching of the product was announced. The announcement hit the market nearly joining the display of fireworks, as it welcomed the coming of the New Year. What is all about this expensive, nearly palm-sized item that makes the whole world crazy about?
Iphones considerably mean an Internet access in ones pocket. As one independent analyst goes, the incredibility of Iphone mania breeds from the peoples eagerness to own the most looked-for consumer hi-technology device over the last two decades. Convenience is what it mainly provides. It is an Internet and multimedia able, a quad band GSM, which was originally innovated and sold to market by the Apple Inc.
Apart from that, it functions as multimedia player, camera phone, visual voicemail and text messaging. It also provides various Internet services like web browsing, local connectivity to Wi-Fi and e-mail. The user input is done through its multi-touch screen with buttons and virtual keyboard.
Last June 29, many gear-heads appointed this date as iDay, the introduction of the most sought-after device in the century. Since the first month of this year when the announcement was made, the Iphone mania has began and millions of customers, investors of Wall Streets as well as the media were captivated. They were sold in bulk over the United States from Apple Online and Retail Stores and AT&T Mobility.
You see the phone is not cheap. For a 4 GB model, it will cost you $500, and for a 8GB is $600. Leaving the cost aside, the Iphone is packaged with a mobile phone plan. For AT&T as an example, the lowest plan cost $60 per month, excluding the activation fee of about $36. Concluding it, one can spend almost $2000 for the 2 year use of this gadget.
The Apple Inc released a wowing 20-minute multimedia guided video tour that explains many of the features of an Iphone, through their series of displays. The Iphone mania also flourished a lot on eBay, with more than a thousand hits found just nearly announcing the release of the gadget in the market.
Still, the Iphone mania continuous to hit the market. The fuss remains as incredible as how the people are getting crazy over this technology piece.
